NOSEDRIP’s approach to music can’t be better described as “multi-faceted”. He is active in various collectives trying to bring music to the masses in a different way. He is responsible for the “moody” selection on the 22tracks Belgium website, he is co-founder of the “Surf Kill” label bringing unconventional electronic music in an 100% diy way, and he is resident for several party concepts bringing new live in a dull nightlife environment. As a DJ you can find him on different, eclectic line ups: obscure parties, club nights, as support for live gigs in various venues and more. Musically NOSEDRIP can’t be pinned to one or similar styles: future dubstep, twisted hip hop and broken house to obscure pop, wave, moody electronica and everything in between, the guy knows it all.

With this mix NOSEDRIP brings a more dancefloor-oriented selection: Cosmin TRG, Joy O & Boddika, Jamie XX, Lil Silva, Deadboy, … Serious bass injected fillers are blended with more subtle work. Carefully selected and flawlessly mixed. Can you dig it?

DE KREUN is taking over what VLAS VEGAS VZW started about 13 years ago … We know this has always been a special festival with an unique atmosphere and we were happy to participate in it the last 3 editions. We’ll try our best to honour and respect this… The SINXEN fest has always been a “misfit” as a festival. The line up is always filled with non typical bands and acts leaving space for discovering and enjoying “new” music. After releases on DiaMind and Dubtastic, young Belgian talent ARTRONIKS is ready for his debut release on WARRIORZ RECORDS. The previous release on the label got support from J-KENZO, VON-D, PHAELEH and SEVEN among others. With their third release the label continues to support young homegrown talent. ARTRONIKS is certainly an exponent of this new generation of young Belgian producers. Using both analog equipment and software he creates his unique harmonious sound with a typical deep ripping bassline.

The IDENTITY EP on WARRIORZ RECORDS shows ARTRONIKS taking a huge step forward in his productional skills. This release will not go unnoticed, the future looks promising for this wonderboy!

ALPHA starts with a reggae-ish feel, builds on a wobbly bassline and culminates in a controlled tear out. This tune is perfect dancefloor material for all dedicated skankers.

DEEP COLD holds that dark, haunting atmosphere to what the title is referring to. A musical descent with several sharp barbs that ensure the tune will cling itself in everyone’s musical mind.

“I guess this must be the first time ever I record a podcast that doesn’t represent me as a techno-dj.
Basically this is the music I listen to daily, in a home/car/ipod.. setting, away from the club. I forgot a whole bunch of favourite tracks/styles. Londenaar Mosca heeft er een schitterend jaar opzitten. Engelse dj’s Gilles
Peterson, Mary Anne Hobbs en Benji B katapulteerden hem naar grote bekendheid. Wat begon op piratenradio’s, Rinse FM en Deja Vu FM leidde hem ook hier naar grotere bekendheid: zijn track ‘Bax’ was één van de meest aanstekelijke dancefloor anthems van het jaar. Mosca’s nummers zijn gemaakt om de dansvloer te veroveren, maar zijn tegelijk zeer gesofisticeerd opgebouwd met invloeden uit grime, uk bass, garage, funk, hiphop en soulvolle house. November jl. kwam zijn ep ‘The wavey’ uit. De alternatieve muziekliefhebbers kennen hem ongetwijfeld ook via de remixes voor Four
Tet en Foals of via releases op 3024, Hypercolour en Ghost House.

Ben Ufo (Ben Thomson) is een van de meest veelzijdige Dj’s van het moment. Samen met Pangaea en Pearson Sound (Ramadanman) richtte hij het Hessle Audio Label op. Terwijl die twee zich al uitstekende producers toonden, maakt Ben Ufo enkel als DJ naam, zonder de wereld van producers te willen binnentreden. Een uitstekende keuze zo blijkt, want de piraatradio en record label Rinse vroeg hem -in navolging van o.a. Roska en Youngsta- voor de alweer 16e editie van hun befaamde DJ-mixes Rinse 16. Met deze mix verzamelt Ben UFO de meest vooruitstrevende, vreemde en futuristische elektronische muziek van de laatste tijd op één plaatje. Een uitstekend naslagwerk voor wie houdt van bassy house music! Op dit album bewijst hij zich opnieuw als uitstekende mixmaster die als geen ander de crème de la crème uit de vinylkast weet te selecteren en oud en nieuw naadloos op elkaar laat aansluiten. Jungle, Blue Note jazz, techno en garage, je kunt het allemaal voorbij horen komen!

Sleeper & District begonnen collaboratief samen te werken in 2010. Allebei met de focus op het creeëren van de diepere kanten van Dubstep. Na veel airplay te krijgen op de welgekende UK radiozender “Rinse FM” door Dubstep dons zoals Youngsta & Distance, besloot Distance ze te signen op zijn label ‘Chestplate’.
